Ben's Deals is amazing. We didn't get our refrigerator from them, but they were amazing to work with and helped us troubleshoot our problem. We had no pressure to buy from them, they are just amazing and helpful!

Ben was very helpful. Answered every question I had. Had it shipped to Wisconsin. The shipping company close to me held it for 5 days without any communication but that's not on Ben.

I have a hard time finding parts for my propane freezer and I am very glad that I found Ben's. They had the part I needed, though it's made for a different freezer (my freezer brand is no longer made) the part is identical and works correctly. I am extremely happy that Ben's had the thermocouple that I needed.
I've had my Crystal Cold CC18RF Propane Refrigerator-Freezer about a week now and so far, it is working great. It looks great, is cold and has plenty of room inside.
I can't recommend Ben's Deals enough. As is often the case with buying a refrigerator, I was on a tight timeline when I ordered. Unfortunately, the original unit was damaged by the shipping company. Once I refused the damaged product, the good people at Ben's Deals sprang into action and had a replacement on its way. The delay was minimal due to their diligence, and I received my replacement in time to get it installed before using ice chest was necessary.
My entire experience with Ben's Deals went extremely well from start to finish. Ben was very patient in trying to get my old refrigerator working; and, when it became clear there really was no life in the old model, he sold me the newer and vastly improved model. I am very happy with the new one, and they really have improved significantly in the past 18 years. I will buy from Ben again.
Bens appliance helped us secure this refrigerator and arranged to have it shipped to Montana. Great service. This replaces our refer that quit working. They also assisted us in the replacement part for our old refer. Now have 2 working gas refers. It was great working with Dylan at Bens. Very satisfied
Our 30 year old crystal cold refrigerator at our Maine island cottage needed replacement, and we wanted a larger model. Ben’s came to the rescue. What a great buying experience this was! Spoke with Ben and received a quote for the fridge including shipping, following day I placed the order. The carrier they chose “T-Force handled the product with due care and upon inspection I found no damage hidden or otherwise. Shipper’s comment to me was how well manufacturer packaged this item.
We set the fridge up and after waiting several hours for ammonia to settle we started it. It took several hours to cool down but it works great! Internal temperature is rock solid with no fluctuations. Wife and I are very pleased thus far! Thanks Ben.
Customer service on the phone was awesome! I had trouble reversing the doors and was able to get help with my questions. We've had a Chrystal Cold frig in our off-grid cabin for 20+ years, this is our second one and are happy with it so far!

My experience with the team was nothing but perfect and professional, they answered all my questions even after delivery. The natural gas refrigerator freezer units do stick out more than you think. So if you are doing a kitchen from scratch you might want to call them and get the true measurement off the wall because they do need a little space to breathe as well. its SS steal . surprised how roomy. i would like to see the freezer on the bottom. Why not use the Unique retro body frig which has freezer on bottom.
Their styles need to be more progressive!

Finally able to review this freezer!
I picked my CC9 up directly from Arcola, IL as I live reasonably close in Indiana. I appreciate the quality……thick walls, stainless interior, seemingly thicker metal (?) used for the structure of the freezer……or it could be simply heavier insulation? Regardless, it seems to be a quality unit.
It lit right up and worked its way down to 0°. I’ve transferred all our frozen goods into it. I bought some baskets to help organize & contain it all.
It seems to hover between -5° to 0°.
So far, I’m very pleased with it!
I couldn’t be more happy with this purchase! I read a lot of reviews all of which were good. If anyone lives off grid I highly recommend the crystal cold refrigerators!
A total adventure! But! We needed it. we had previously bought one in stainless steel about 15 years ago and it stopped ticking. So! Here we go again. Pretty good refrigerators.
The refrigerator came in a day early. Of course, whenever you use LTL, you always check the product. In this case a small ding in the door, but everything else was perfect. I am putting it in a remote cabin, so it is almost a requirement to have dings. Hahaha. I will be purchasing a propane stove in the next day from them
Working with Ben's Deals was great. Very helpful and knowledgeable. They helped us arrange to have the fridge picked up. The fridge is very easy to use and cools quickly. Very satisfied.
We really appreciated Ben's suggestions and assistance. He requested specific information and photographs to ensure we would be sent the proper-sized cooling unit. It arrived in a reasonable amount of time, given our remote location. And Ben was very willing to give suggestions on how to ensure proper installation, which we did ourselves. Installation wasn't difficult, but it took some patience.

Shipping was complicated but they smoothed out all the kinks. The refrigerator arrived promptly and was in perfect shape. Then I got good detailed advice on how best to transport it out to the remote cabin. It's installed and working great. It's a rare thing to be able to talk to real people about a big purchase like this. I'll definitely shop there again for any off-grid equipment.

Great customer service and a great appliance. It was a bit of a project, but I wanted a gas refrigerator to guard against extended power failures. It took a bit of doing to find the right plumber and engage a professional mover to get everything set up, but I'm very pleased with the fridge after a few days.
