The LAB11R9 model from ELCOLD, made exclusively for Accucold in Denmark, has a 4.8 cu.ft. storage capacity and features 4 1/2" extra thick insulation for maintaining the ultra low temperatures required for preserving biological samples, industrial materials, laboratory specimens, vaccines, and other materials with specific cold storage needs. This unit operates on a manual defrost system and is equipped with two inner lids to protect contents when the outer lid is opened. The front-mounted digital microprocessor controls offer convenient access, while the temperature range of -50 to -85ºC can be displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Additionally, a 9V battery-powered alarm is located in the rear of the unit to sound in case of a power failure.
Accucold introduces a new series of ultra low temperature chest freezers designed for reliable storage at -85ºC for laboratory, life science, and other institutional settings.

For easy mobility, the LAB11R9 comes with pre-installed casters, including two front locking wheels to help keep the unit in place. The easy-grip handle includes a factory-installed keyed lock for added security. We include a set of 9 vertical stainless steel box racks (6 10-box and 3 5-box) for additional storage convenience.
The LAB11 is UL listed for use in the US and Canada, and also meets ANSI/NSF-7. Additional sizes will be available soon.
